How to Apply for RTI
- Submit application to the PIO (Public Information Officer)
- Pay the prescribed fee of Rs. 10
- Mention specific information required clearly
- Attach identity proof
- Collect acknowledgement receipt

Timeline
- Normal cases: 30 days from receipt of application
- If life/liberty involved: 48 hours
- First Appeal: Within 30 days of rejection
